Blake Lapier is a native of Lake Jackson, Texas. He has a Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Texas, along with a Masters of Arts in Sports & Fitness Administration from the University of Houston. This will be his 6th year at FHS. He previously worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Alvin High School and graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Houston. He is married to Robyn, who is a teacher at Clear Lake High School. They have 2 children, Ainsley & Anderson. Blake enjoys grilling, hanging out with the family, and watching Texas Longhorn football games. |
Tevin Dent, LAT, ATC

Tevin Dent is a League City, Texas native and graduated from Clear Springs High School in 2015. He went on to graduate from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. This will be his sixth year as an athletic trainer and 6th at Friendswood High School. Tevin previously worked at Friendswood Junior High (2019-2020) and continues to work multiple games providing healthcare for NBA referees (Houston Rockets). Tevin is enjoying his fresh marriage, with his wife Annah. He also enjoys traveling to Japan, learning to cook, and hanging out with his dogs; Biscuit, Mika and Ivy.

Sage Mize, MAT, LAT, ATC

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Sage is beginning her second year with Friendswood High School as an outreach Athletic Trainer through Houston Methodist. She earned her bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and went on to complete her Masters at the University of Arkansas. She has previously worked at Clear Brook High School and most recently completed the 2023 MLB season with the Houston Astros as part of their medical staff. Sage resides in Pearland with her fiance Eric. They both enjoy the outdoors - spending most weekends kayaking, fishing or road tripping to the Hill Country.

Jenna Tubbs has been an Outreach Athletic Trainer for Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hosptial for 28 years. This is her 4th year with Friendswood ISD. She is originally from Indiana where she attended college at Ball State University. Jenna actively attends CityMark Church where she is involved in the Production Team. In her free time, she likes to work out and body build, and she has recently earned two professional cards. She is excited to now be a part of the Mustang Family! |
Alec Petrocelli
Strength & Conditioning Coach

Coach Petrocelli joins Friendswood High School as Strength and Conditioning Coordinator, after being the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Katy Seven Lakes High from 2023-2025. During his tenure at SLHS the Spartans finished 2nd in the 6A Lonestar Cup in 2024 and 6th in the Lonestar cup in 2025. Prior to SLHS Petrocelli was a Strength and Conditioning intern with the football team at The University of Georgia in 2022. During his time he was a part of a SEC, Peach Bowl, and National Championship. From 2020-2022 he was the Defensive Line coach at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. During the 2019-2020 school year he was the Director of Strength and Conditioning as well as a football coach at McLoud High School in McLoud, Oklahoma. From 2017-2019 he was the Tight Ends/H backs coach and NFL Liaison at Oklahoma Baptist University. Petrocelli got his start in coaching in 2016 as the Defensive Line coach at Greensboro College in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association with his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification. Petrocelli was a member of the varsity football program at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2010-2013. Where he also received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science in 2014. Petrocelli is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida.
